ABOUT US

Our Mission

To provide a loving, learning, healthy, and safe environment for our children

We focus on problem solving, decision making and self-help, while promoting interpersonal communications. These are key elements which contribute to the child’s development, self esteem and confidence. We believe the early years are the most important, the foundation of a child's learning abilities.

Terry's Treehouse Learning Center has educated thousands of children since 1998.

OUR LEARNING PHILOSOPHY

Terry's Treehouse uses a combination of learning-based approaches. The curriculum we use is a play based approach which creatively weaves together art projects, music, storytelling, math games and science experiments.  The result is a meaningful learning experience where children build a foundation for lifelong learning. We also focus on motor skills, cognitive development and social and emotional development.

We believe:

  • Children learn through play.

  • Children learn through hands-on experiences.

  • Children thrive in environments that create routine.

  • Teachable moments happen many times throughout the day. We strive to help the teachers recognize and utilize those moments.

  • Activities should focus on the whole child and help develop them socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
